When I asked Finn if he learned anything new on his first day of
preschool, he told me that a friend taught him that the Easter Bunny poops out
the jelly beans. High hopes for the Fairview Park schools. :)
I was working with Finn on a tracing book and he said, "Mom, can you help me with this since you're an actual
therapist?" He has all kinds of other variations of "occupational therapist", like "optical therapist and octupal therapist". Cracks me up and I think it's cute that he remembers. Lately, he's getting upset when I drop him at school. When I told him that the kids at my work need my help, so I have to take him to school so I can go there, he said, "those kids need to help themselves! You're MY mom!" :)
Finn: where's dad? Me: at work. Finn: why does he always have to
go to work? Me: to make money for our family. Finn: he doesn't have to go to
work, why doesn't he just get a credit card?
Mitchie continues to talk up a storm. So many full sentences lately too!
He woke up early one morning and I took him downstairs. On our way down, he whispered: "It’s dark down here!
I can’t see anything!" He loves to sing and having us sing to him. His favorite at bedtime is Salina, or Wheels on the Bus. They must be doing Itsy Bitsy Spider (or to Mitch, "Itz Bitz Pider") and Old McDonald at school because I'm hearing those a lot too. Finn likes me to sing "Dede songs" at bedtime, like Daisy, Daisy and Bobby Shafto.
