Mitchie

Tonight at bed time Mitch gave me a kiss (a very slobbery one) and said "I wuv wu mommy." And as he said it, he let out a giant hiccup/burp. He thought it was the funniest thing in the world and when he finally calmed down from laughing he put his head on my shoulder and said "hmmm. Coo mees (excuse me)". Such a gentleman. :)  here he is at the beach today.

Saturday lunch cruise

Lemonade stand

The boys' first lemonade stand.  Finn asked why there weren't any people coming and I told him they had to walk down the street and yell out "Lemonade! Get your lemonade!" The next thing I know, they're both walking down the street yelling "Lemonade! Where are you? Lemonade?" I don't think they quite understood my marketing idea. :)

More Big Giant Rocks

A little hike in the backyard by the creek. :)

Poor Mitch can't keep his boots on his feet

Poor Finn can't keep the rocks out of his boots

Finn hiked to the very top of the other side of the ravine all by himself - he was so proud of himself!

The way down was a little tougher :)

T Ball!

The Cubs are faring well this season, but I think it might only be because they don't keep score and because there's no rule against lying down in the outfield when tired.

My Little Mitchie

Tonight after dinner I went out to run some errands and as I left, Drew and Mitch were standing at the front door. When I looked back, I could tell that Mitch was sad I was leaving and was starting to cry (which is way out of the ordinary for him...he usually doesn't even notice when I leave if Drew is home).  So I went back to give him a hug and tell him I'd be back soon.  When I bent down, he gave me a huge hug, smiled, and said, "I wuv you!"  It was the first time he had ever said it on his own. I love that guy. :)

Strawberry Picking

Finn: "I think I'm going to be a farmer when I grow up."
Mitch: "Eat it?...eat it?.......eat it?" Every time he picked one :)
