Finn caught his first cold this week and had to get some shots at the doctor on top of it.  He was a sad little guy on Monday night with a fever and a cough.  He bounced back pretty quickly though and happily passed the bug on to his mom who was bed ridden all weekend.  Stinker.  Here are the most recent happenings in the Heffron household.

Sometimes, just for kicks, I like to ask Drew to get Finn dressed. Here's the latest outfit selection (and no, he wasn't kidding):

A visit from Papa.

One night, Drew was getting Finn ready for his bath. Drew insisted that it was good for Finn to have "naked time", despite my many warnings...

Finn loves watching Drew play the piano. Here, he got to play a few chords of his own with his chubby little bottom.

Finn's friend, Katelyn got him this awesome hat in Peru.  We call it his sherpa hat.  It's kept him nice and warm on quite a few walks already! Thanks Katelyn!

Johnna and Kevin hit the jackpot with this gift. He loves this little monkey! His cousin Dylan loves playing with it too!

Finn has been helping his dad around the house lately. In this picture, they were reapplying felt discs to the bottoms of the dining room chairs. He's quite the handy man!

St. Patrick's Day

We had such a fun day on St. Patrick's Day this year! We went down to see the parade and checked out some Irish music in the afternoon. The kids had a blast! Here's a cute one of Finn and Annie in their matching shamrock outfits!

A Visit From Finn's Aunties!

Finn's Aunt Jenny got married this weekend, so he was lucky enough to get a visit from his other Aunties too! Here's Finn with Jackie...


And here he is with Johnna. He loved hanging out with them and even got to stay up late to party a little.

Finn recently learned that he could stick his tongue out and ever since, he spends most of his days looking like this...



Drew was trying to figure out how to put the sun cover on the stroller and put it down on top of Finn in his carseat, just close enough to his little mouth...


He's getting a lot of personality lately, talking a lot and smiling a lot at us when we talk to him!


Finn loves playing on his playmat now that he's learning to use his hands a little better. It's so fun to watch him get excited when he bats at the little toys hanging down.

Spring Is Here!

We're LOVING the warm spring weather and Finn is becoming quite the outdoorsman! He loves going on walks around the neighborhood in his stroller and he also loves being carried around in his wrap outside. As we were walking on the day this picture was taken, someone actually slowed down as they were driving by to take his picture with a cell phone! I think he's pretty cute too!



I heard him laugh out loud for the first time yesterday. He's such a happy little guy.



I went back to work last week and Finn spent his first few days at daycare. This was obviously a lot harder for me than it was for him, because when I picked him up, he was just smiling away at Patty, his baby sitter. She says that he's such an easy
baby, which makes his mama proud!
